March 26, 2007.  NuDesign announces availability of CLI Code Generation Framework.  The framework implements command hierarchy navigation, command completion, command line editing, history, and a basic set of common commands.  The framework makes it very easy to extend and customize the CLI for device configuration.  NuDesign’s CLI solution can operate as the only management agent for the embedded device or it can be deployed with NuDesign’s SNMP Agent to provide serial access to SNMP MIB(s) implementation.

October 1, 2006.  NuDesign enters into the Development Partnership Agreement with AIM-USA, a leading manufacturer of Avionics Test & Simulation Products for MIL-STD-1553A/B, STANAG3910, ARINC429, AFDX, ARINC664, PANAVIA, Fibre Channel and MIL-STD-1760 applications.  The partnership will bring SNMP management functionality to the avionics industry products.

August 28, 2006.  NuDesign adds the AES Privacy Protocol, the Advanced Encryption Standard for 128 bit keys to its SNMP v3 products.  The AES Privacy Protocol, conforming with RFC3826 is available now, along with the Data Encryption Standard (DES) to perform the privacy encrypting functions of the SNMP v3 operation across NuDesign's family of SNMP products.

April 24, 2006.  NuDesign releases updated Visual Embedded xAgentBuilder for C++, its embedded SNMP Agent code and project generation wizard and a number of SNMPv3 SDK Libraries for embedded Linux.  Currently supported CPU's include Power PC, XScale, ARM, MIPS and x86 architectures.

December 15, 2005.  NuDesign has released the Remote Subagent support for its SNMP Agent code generator, Visual xAgentBuilder for C++, starting with Revision 7.0.  The Remote Subagent architecture provides for registration of subagents, running in a separate processes, and their communication with the Extensible Master Agent.  The Visual xAgentBuilder for C++ completely automates the process, just tick-off the Remote Subagent box in the wizard and your MIB's subagent is created and ready to use using NuDesign's Remote Subagent classes.

November 28, 2005.  Starting with release 6.0 of Visual MIB Browser Pro, SNMPv3 Management Application, NuDesign adds three significant SNMP development tools to the product.  First is the SNMP Traffic Monitoring and Analysis function providing capability to capture, filter, decode and present the SNMP packets in a "human readable form".  Second is the SNMP CLI interface providing for raw, user defined access to any OID. Third is a two step, automated testing of SNMP Agent MIB’s implementations, controlled by the MIB Browser's VB script and NuDesign's MIB Compiler.  First step auto-finds MIB modules implemented by the agent, second step invokes pre-canned tests that verify accuracy and completeness of your SNMP Agent's MIB implementation.  It automatically generates test reports.  The MIB module compliance testing complements your custom VB based test scripts that you may have already developed for NuDesign's MIBrowser Pro.  Service Contract customers receive this upgrade at no extra cost.

September 26, 2005.  NuDesign has announced beta testing phase for its new Visual SNMP Traffic Monitor, an easy to use Windows application that allows developer to monitor the SNMP exchanges, including the SNMPv3 traffic, down to the level that it has permissions for.  The Traffic Monitor aids in debugging of difficult development and / or configuration problems, helping pinpoint their source.  The Traffic Monitor comes with the MIB Compiler to enable easy-to-read frame presentation.  A comprehensive capture and display filtering is provided.  Please contact us if you would like to preview this product.

July 29, 2002.  Next generation MIB Compiler Control has been released to production.  The Control resolves Import dependencies of MIBs in a selected directory and automatically loads required “import” MIBs while loading the user selected MIB.
